Our October promise is that God promises to give us eternal life. Our key verse is John 3:16, which emphasizes how much God loves us. The Lord gave His one and only Son for the salvation of the world. For those of us who believe in Jesus, this verse should inspire a life of gratitude for what the Lord did for us. For you, and for me.
In addition to being thankful for His sacrifice and for the promise of eternal life with Him in Heaven, this promise encourages us to embody love and compassion toward others today. We should live with a sense of purpose to share the message of hope found in Jesus with others. And we should strive to actively live out our faith every day by showing the love of Christ in our lives.
