God promises to be with us.

Pursue the Promises | 2024 All-Church Theme Kickoff

“No one will be able to stand against you as long as you live. For I will be with you as I was with Moses. I will not fail you or abandon you.” (Joshua 1:5)

In Joshua 1:5, God's unwavering commitment to His people is powerfully affirmed. He promises, "I will never leave you nor forsake you" (NIV), instilling assurance in Joshua's leadership and in the hearts of the Israelites.

This promise of God's constant presence is echoed in Hebrews 13:5, where the author reminds believers, "I will never leave you nor forsake you." These verses reinforce the enduring truth of God's steadfast presence and support in the lives of His followers, regardless of circumstances. The Lord is unchanging and faithful.

We invite you to join us for a transformative journey this year as we explore 12 of God’s promises. Each month, we'll explore a different promise, seeking to understand its depth and relevance in our daily lives. Whether you're seeking comfort, guidance or a stronger faith, Pursue the Promises is an opportunity to deepen your relationship with God and discover the assurance and peace His promises bring.

As a church family, we are dedicated to growing in faith and experiencing God's unchanging truths. Let's embrace His divine promises and see how they can change our lives!

Verse to Memorize

This year's message is being delivered right on time, with not a moment to waste.

The mayhem of the world is ordered and quieted by knowing the promises of God. They are comforting and warming for our spirits, like nothing else.

A favorite scripture is from Isaiah 46:4

"I have made you and I will carry you;

I will sustain you and I will rescue you."

He will. So I will, lean on the promises of God.

Great encouraging message. A message to remind us that Jesus is the same yesterday today and forever. We can trust Him for he is always with us .

Bless you Pastor Shane for shepherding your flock with promises from God. In our everyday life ves we can get so caught up in the busyness that we forget what God has promised. Your encouragement is appreciated and I look forward to journeying with you and the other teachers throughout this year in hiding Gods Word in my heart. Being a wife of a truck driver many times I have leaned on this verse for assurance that I was not alone. It gave me such a sense of peace. To me there is nothing more beautiful and valuable than to have the Peace of God rule in your heart. May others be encouraged by this years teachings. God bless and keep you.
