What is The Landing?

The Landing is a hope-filled program for typical teens with not-so-typical challenges. Our goal is to help hurting teens who are living a life that is too hard for them to figure out on their own. We get it.

Specifically for teens age 13-19, The Landing is structured to provide hope and healing to youth struggling with life’s hurts, habits and hang-ups. Challenges might include broken homes, divorce, peer pressure, self-worth, loneliness, depression and abuse.

The Landing:

  • Allows teens to work with peers and supportive, caring, trained adult leaders who truly understand.
  • Opens the lines of communication and shows teens they are not alone.
  • Offers a safe place for teens to express themselves and learn life-changing tools to find freedom, peace and victory.
The Landing is not a lecture-style program. Teens are involved in all aspects of the program – they write, draw, talk, role play, answer questions and more. Meetings include engaging activities, worship songs, videos and lessons on specific topics such as denial, helplessness, hope and giving God control.

The Landing is available for all teens – all are welcome! They can start at any time and do not need to attend CLA to participate. Registration is not required – show up!

Confidentiality and providing a safe place for teens are critical to helping them gain victory over their challenges. Each of our leaders is carefully chosen, vetted and trained.
