God promises to give us rest.

“Then Jesus said, ‘Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you. Let me teach you, because I am humble and gentle at heart, and you will find rest for your souls.’” (Matthew 11:28-29)
 
We can all grow tired and weary in the busyness of our daily lives and the stresses that we face. Yet, in this passage, Jesus assures us that, if we come to Him, He will give us rest. We cannot experience true rest apart from Him.
 
And He’s not talking about temporary or fleeting rest, but rather rest that is real and lasting. God does not want us to live a wearied life. Jesus gave His life for us so that we might live abundantly. Will you accept the rest only He can provide?
