Our 2025 all-church theme is Join the Story. The Bible tells us that we all have a purpose and are part of God’s story.
Each of us has a story about the impact Jesus has made on our lives, and that story is worth sharing with others. Will you allow the Lord to use yours?
Every month, on a Sunday morning, we will highlight an individual's story and the difference that Jesus has made in his or her life.
We'd love to hear what the Lord has done in your life! If you have a story to share, please take a moment to complete this simple form.
We are excited to share some highlights with our church family, whether that be on a Sunday morning, through social media or email, or in some other way.
We pray that you will continue to grow in your relationship with Jesus as you live out your faith and share His love with others this year!

Dave Beistline
Several years ago, Dave began a journey that resulted in a miraculous healing. He gives God the glory in being declared cancer-free against all odds.
“When I was young, I was in a very deep depression. I felt I had no purpose in life. One day when I came home from school, I was planning on taking my life. I took some pills and fell asleep. The next morning, I woke up in the hospital. The first thing I saw was a poster about being baptized. I realized then that I needed to find God.”

“God saved my life in an extremely bad motorcycle accident. Every doctor said that I would never wake up from a coma, and they said that, if I did, I would be crippled. I have a traumatic brain injury, and my back is all titanium steel. But God had other plans because here I am, and I'm walking and living my life even though I'm considered disabled. God is good all the time. Nothing is impossible with our Lord and Savior!”

“My son, Malaki, was born with brain damage and diagnosed with spastic cerebral palsy. He recently turned one. We are praying and believing for miraculous healing for him. God has given me a vision and a word over Malaki's life that I am clinging to. While we are still waiting for a miracle in his body, I know God is using his story and the people God placed in our lives because of it to share Jesus with others.”

“Two years ago, my son swallowed a button battery on Mother’s Day. The doctors didn’t give him much of a chance of living. But God did and, through a miraculous healing, our son is healthy and still here with us.”

“There was a time in my life when I was in the pit of despair from low self-esteem, divorce and bankruptcy. This led to various addictions, such as pornography, unhealthy relationships and binge eating. My sins and shame buried me, BUT GOD saw me, loved me and forgave me. There are many verses in the Bible that include these blessed words (“BUT GOD”). Our situations might feel overwhelming, BUT GOD works in them to fulfill His purpose. BUT GOD saves us through Jesus.”

“I started out as a child just going to church on Sundays. I met my wife and, since then, started going to CLA several years ago. I now feel a lot closer to Jesus and learned that discipleship is more than just going to church once a week. I got involved with the CLA Golf League and Guys Night Out. I also helped with Summer Serve, eventually joined the Media Team and have served with the dramas. Through this, I’m able to spread the word about Jesus to others, and my prayer life and devotional time have significantly increased.”
