Celebrate Recovery

The Celebrate Recovery Ministry is a faith-based program designed to provide encouragement and accountability for people struggling with a variety of hurts, habits or hang-ups.

Food PreparationPrepare and set food table for Solid Rock Café. Mondays 7:00-9:00 PM, weekly

Greeter/Registration TableGreet and register attendees. Mondays 6:30-9:00 PM, weekly


Connections

The Connections Ministry is focused on creating a great experience for our guests and helping individuals become involved in opportunities to serve.

Attendance TrackingThe Logging Team will take names from the attendance sheets and mark them off on a roster, Monday mornings (3 hours) weekly. The Computer Input Team will scan in the roster information, Monday afternoons (1 hour) weekly

Campus Guides

Walk Sunday morning service guests to various locations throughout the building and answer their questions. Sundays before one service (45 minutes) once a month

Communion Clean Up

Clean up from communion. Sundays after one service (15 minutes) once a month

Cookie Bakers/Deliverers

Bake or buy a dozen cookies and deliver them to second time guests of CLA (boxes, ribbon and tags provided). One delivery a month (or more if desired) days and times are flexible

Greeters

Serve on either the indoor team or the team at the doors to greet our new guests and regular attendees and make them feel welcome to CLA. Greeters serve on Sundays before one service. Indoor Greeter (50 min.), Door Greeter (45-60 min.) one month on/one month off This team is currently full.

New Guest Callers

Make a follow-up call the week after an individual’s first visit to welcome them to the church and answer any questions they might have. Days and times are flexible, weekly

Pew Stockers

Stock the pews with cards, offering envelopes, attendance pads and pens. Days and times are flexible (1-2 hours) once a month This team is currently full.

Ushers

Serve at the sanctuary doors during services to welcome attendees, distribute bulletins, help individuals find seating and receive the offering. Sundays during one service (2 hours) one month on/one month off

Volunteer Center Assistants

Answer questions and provide information on volunteer opportunities for individuals who are interested in serving. Sundays before and after one service (45 minutes total) once a month

Welcome Center Assistants

Serve at the Welcome Center desk during services to create a welcoming presence and provide information to new guests and attendees. Sundays during one service (2 hours) or Wednesday evenings (40 minutes) once a month or Sunday evenings (30 minutes) as needed


Discipleship

The desire of the Discipleship Ministry is to see every believer become a spiritually mature follower of Christ.

Disciplers
Invest one-on-one in another believer to help them in their spiritual journey. As available


forever young

The Forever Young Ministry provides meaningful opportunities for fun, food and fellowship for senior adults in our congregation over the age of 50.

Monthly Dinner Set Up

Set tables for Forever Young dinners. Third Tuesday of every month (2 hours) daytime


Life groups

The Life Groups Ministry builds mature disciples by providing a variety of classes and groups designed to strengthen an individual’s faith in preparation for effective service to the Lord.

Group LeadersTeach a small group in your home or on campus. Saturday mornings (2 hours, women only) Sunday evenings (2 hours) 2-3 times monthly plus prep time Membership is required.

Table Group Leaders

Table Leaders facilitate discussion and care fora small group of individuals but are not responsible for teaching. Sunday mornings (45 minutes, married couples) Wednesday evenings (1 hour, 15 minutes, men & women) by semester Membership is required.

Teachers

Prepare lessons and teach a class on campus. Sunday mornings (45 minutes) Tuesday mornings or evenings (2 hours, women only) or Wednesday evenings (1 hour, 15 minutes) by semester, plus prep time Membership is required.


Men

The Men’s Ministry seeks to create environments and opportunities to reach men with the message of hope in Jesus Christ.

Men’s Adventure Sports Group Leaders

Lead an interest-based adventure sports group for men (e.g. fly fishing). Days and times are determined by the group leader


Women

The Women’s Ministry provides opportunities for women to connect, be encouraged and grow spiritually as we do life together and share the hope a personal relationship with Jesus provides.

Women’s Hospitality

Create a warm environment at our Women’s Bible Studies by serving as a greeter or assist with arranging or clean up of food and beverages. 15 minutes before or after Bible Studies, Tuesdays 9:30-11:30 AM or 6:30-8:30 PM, Wednesdays 7:00-8:15 PM or 2nd & 4th Saturdays 9:00-11:00 AM
