On January 12, 2010, a magnitude 7.0 earthquake shook the capital of Port au Prince, Haiti. During that event and the following aftershocks, over 200,000 people perished. A Discover Missions team was one of the first non-medical teams to arrive and assist. In the new community of Canaan, we are building the church where it did not exist. This will be a construction effort, working in partnership with Builders International and the Canaan community.
