Human Trafficking Awareness Training

January 19, 2019

9AM-1PM | Student Center

Greenlight Operation believes awareness is the first step to combating human trafficking.  We are excited to announce that Greenlight Operation will be partnering with She’s Somebody’s Daughter, a local organization that sheds light on how sexual exploitation takes place in our communities and how to change the narrative for those who have been impacted, to conduct this training.

Topics being discussed include:

  • Human Trafficking 101

  • Debunking the myth of what a human trafficking scenario looks like

  • Trafficking in Central PA

  • How social media and pornography propel sexual exploitation

  • Signs of human trafficking and how to report suspected cases

  • Ways to get involved with local organizations that combat sexual exploitation and human trafficking

There will be Q&A after each session.

This will be an informative and powerful training you don’t want to miss! Questions?  Email Jordan at greenlightoperation@clacamphill.com.

Volunteer Opportunities

Greenlight Operation hosts events year-round.  We are in need of greeters, first-aid personnel, cafe workers, ushers, and more.

Community Relations

We are looking for individuals comfortable with communicating with our community partners.  This includes sending updates about our team's work and sending invites to upcoming events.

The Marketing team plays a vital role in telling Greenlight Operation's story.  We are currently looking for graphic designers, bloggers,  photographers, and videographers.

Assist our Fundraising Coordinator with the creation and implementation of fundraisers that will bring us closer to opening a restoration home for women that have been sex trafficked.

Breaking Chains: Art and Community Showcase

September 2019

Breaking Chains is an annual art and community showcase that’s hosted by Greenlight Operation to raise awareness about human trafficking. This family friendly event is full of local artists that display and sell beautiful creations to benefit Greenlight Operation’s efforts to combat human trafficking. In addition to local artists, anti-trafficking groups from across Pennsylvania come together for this event to provide the resources attendees need to get involved with combating human trafficking. It is an event that draws the community together, provides resources about human trafficking, and allows you to support a local anti-human trafficking organization.

Stay tuned for more information about our 3rd annual Breaking Chains.

A21 Walk For Freedom

October 19,2019

People across the globe will join the movement to abolish slavery one step at a time. Human trafficking is the illegal trade of human beings. It’s the recruitment, control, and use of people for their bodies and for their labor. Through force, fraud, and coercion, people everywhere are being bought and sold against their will–right now in the 21st century. The Walk For Freedom is designed to shine a global spotlight on human trafficking. We hope you'll take a stand with us!
