Responding to a Current Crisis
In 2018, CLA responded to the crisis of human trafficking in Pennsylvania and our local communities by launching a ministry called Greenlight Operation. Since then, Greenlight Operation has grown in its influence at the local and state level by bringing awareness to the issue of modern-day slavery through its prevention efforts, among other achievements.

When CLA first launched Greenlight Operation, the goal was to have it grow and expand into its own sustainable nonprofit. And we are thrilled to share that the organization has done just that! In February 2021, Greenlight Operation was incorporated as a nonprofit in Pennsylvania, and in June it filed for 501(c)3 status with the IRS.

An Independent Organization
To make a clean transition based on the beginning and end of CLA’s fiscal year, as of January 1, 2022, Greenlight Operation has become financially and operationally independent. While Greenlight Operation is no longer a ministry of CLA, we will still maintain a close relationship with them and are grateful to have been part of their origin story.

Support Its Mission
With this change, Greenlight Operation is no longer listed on CLA’s online giving platform. Please consider supporting their mission and work through their website. You can also sign up to receive their newsletter.
