Child Dedication

Since some children are too young for baptism, we offer parents a chance to publicly declare their intent to raise their child in a way that honors God. We see the example of child dedication, in I Samuel, where Hannah’s answered prayer resulted in her commitment to dedicate her child to the Lord for his whole life.

In many ways a "child dedication" is truly a "parent dedication", as parents publicly declare to raise their child in the faith until the child is old enough to make their own public statement of asking Jesus to be the leader of their life.

Invite your family and friends to share in this experience, as we at CLA pray with you and say we are here to partner with you.
